Her debut novel, Girls to Pearls, draws from the rich history and community of 1950s Savannah, blending factual storytelling with heartfelt memories. Diane’s work aims to explore the complexities of coming of age through historical and lens guided by the religious sisters at St Vincent’s Academy, shedding light on a vibrant time and place while celebrating the resilience of young girls finding their paths
